myth of time
Time is money or may be more... as time is an absolutely "one time use" resource, no recycling nor storing for later use. It flows towards the future and never stop.
Every day we invest effort in doing activities to get the great return. So many tasks to be accomplished and sometime it feels like so litle time to finish them all. More and more new tasks are coming while uncompleted ones are still waiting. Pressure to meet the deadline, run out of schedule and other long listed uncompleted tasks can be trigger for the panic and chaos mind.
Following are the myths of time that need to avoid which can bring you into wasting time and deadline panic:
1.Be Efficient makes me effective
It is not true, efficient is doing fast and precise, effecient it self will not bring you to the your goal. Effective is to know your priority and doing it right at the right time to meet your goal.
2. I should do it my self for good result.
It is not true, inability and unwilling to delegate the tasks are one of the cause bad bussiness performance.Using the time to do the tasks those are not your core role will grab you from focusing your self to make better different in yours.
3.There is only one way to do the task.
It is not true, Rutinity is a trap for repeating the same activity with the same method. Stop and look back, reviewing the purpose, the deadline and the task description can help you in developing new more effective and more efficient method or even the possibility to share the task with other.
4. Long listed tasks will result in good return.
It is not true, good return is result of quality tasks accomplishment instead of quantity of tasks accomplishment.
